PETER STREMES

Thirteen years after leaving his job as the Managing Director of Time 107.5 to take a job at Saint Francis Hospice, Peter is back on the radio presenting the weekend Wind Down Zone programmes.

 

In the intervening period he also worked for Havering Council where his work included editing the Council's Living in Havering magazines and the daily email newsletters throughout the COVID pandemic.

 

Prior to moving to Romford in 2007, Peter worked as the Station Manager for the legendary South West London pirate radio station, Radio Jackie, in the early 1980s and again when it finally won a licence to broadcast legally in 2003.

 

In the 80s and 90s Peter worked for cable TV company Telewest Communications (today known as Virgin Media) and Sky TV.

 

Peter has been a Wimbledon and AFC Wimbledon season ticket holder for more than 30 years so, in what he hopes is a good omen for the team at All Hit Radio, he knows what it is like to come back from losing everything to becoming a great success again.
