JOHN ROSE

Rosie – The Romford Rascal of the Airwaves - was born and bred proper Romford — went to good ol’ Rise Park Infants and Junior Schools, then on to Chase Cross Secondary.

"My radio love affair started early — with the glorious chaos of pirate radio, and the moment that sealed it: hearing the legend Johnnie Walker in the early 70s. By 15 (1973), I was already running my own 'bedroom radio empire' — armed with a Fidelity mini record player, a stereogram, and a Philips cassette recorder for jingles nicked straight off the airwaves.

From “Got any Quo?” mobile discos to hospital radio, community stations, BBC local, the mighty BIG T-I-M-E, Time 107.5, and then Street Sounds Radio — I’ve been spinning tunes, and talking rubbish on air for decades, winning absolutely no awards!

These days, when I’m not running my own radio production company creating commercials, jingles, imaging, and voiceovers for stations across the land, I’m here — ready to fill your Sunday night boots with red-hot banter and the hits you’ve been missing.

So, check in every Sunday evening for ‘Rosie’s Plasterers Radio Show’ on All Hit Radio — get “On the Firm” and ready for a few hours of proper radio mucking about."
